Dryden Gallery stands as one of the most versatile space of its kind in Providence and maintains its robust focus on celebrating local artists. Located on the East Side in a historic New England mill along with Providence Picture Frame, Dryden Gallery is comprised of two distinct floors – the Red Gallery and the Grand Gallery – with a total of 4,500 square feet for exhibitions, classes, and events.
The smaller of the two, the Red Gallery accentuates showcased pieces by individual artists with its distinctive crimson backdrop. Meanwhile, the Grand Gallery lives up to its name, boasting 3500 square feet of space with reclaimed wooden floors, 25 foot vaulted ceilings, and pristine white brick. The Grand Gallery may accommodate larger works, collective exhibitions, and approximately 200 guests for special events.
